Radiohead in Montreal - Aug. 6/08

Not only was this the best concert i have ever attended (or ever will attend), but it also goes on my list of the top 10 best moments of my life.

It rained and rained days before the concert and on the day of. Honestly, it wouldn't have been the same if it hadn't rained. It just made it more memorable. Thom Yorke cracked jokes about it, and when he sang "rain down, rain down, come on, rain down on me" during Paranoid Android, the whole park felt like we were part of the song.

The International Fireworks Competition was going on simultaneously in a park nearby. Sometimes the fireworks went off almost as if they were timed perfectly with the songs (Paranoid Android). Other times they caused Thom to laugh as they broke his concentration on a slow, intense song (Faust Arp). Amazing either way.

Getting to the metro station after the concert ended was like being in a zombie movie. 34,000 shuffling their feet, moving inches at a time, filling the streets, all headed in the same direction, covered in mud.
